Dr. Osman Ahmed is an internationally recognized authority in minimally invasive treatments and a pioneer in the area of embolization. Previously a Professor of Radiology at the University of Chicago, Dr. Ahmed co-founded the Joint & Vascular Institute to bring advanced, hospital-grade therapies directly to the community.
Dr. Ahmed specializes in Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), a groundbreaking, non-surgical approach to managing fibroids.
